[歌曲赏析]America By Tom Macdonald

Tom 是我最近喜欢的rapper，很喜欢他的I wish 和 Castles

Tom的歌词几乎没有脏字，要么是针砭时弊，要么是激励人们奋发向上，亦或是更加特殊的diss人 (I'm sorry)

在今天，国庆节当天，Tom发了一首新歌 America

暂且不去谈曲调如何，先谈歌词

Lately, USA is gettin' scarier
Half of the Americans I see all hate America

歌词开篇就直接扼要地说出歌曲主题（美国社会的分裂）

Why you living in America if all you do is hate it
You think it's brave to take a stand against the nation.

这两句我很喜欢，颇有“如果你不喜欢**,那你就去建设它，不要在这里抱怨”的感觉
美国人的民主思想确实很奇特

We respect freedom of speech, we protect what we believe

这一句在Tom口中很有韵律感，是歌曲的副歌

In America, the freedom ain't free
In America, got soldiers dyin' overseas

自由的代价是士兵们的死亡，抛开意识形态来说，可以看出Tom还是很爱America的
（虽然这两句挺扯淡的）

United Sates gave everything to you just to help
I just wanna celebrate Thanksgiving with my family
I don't need your help to understand it was a tragedy
Can't I just be thankful for my country eating happily

这四句描绘出作者本人对抗议的态度，不得不说，这四句话对于任何国家来说都是正确的
我非常喜欢这句话
“我只想感谢我的国家让我开心地吃饭”

I can't help it, I just seem to see the world different
It ain't black or white, it's conflict designed by the system

这两句也写得非常好，世界不是非黑即白的，矛盾是由制度产生的

If my stars and stripes offend you, then I'll help you pack your bags

最后一句鲜明地指出，如果"星条旗"(美国) 使你不爽，"我"将送你出去，表达了Tom的态度

虽然不喜欢这首歌的曲调以及夹杂在歌词中的意识形态宣传，但是歌词的其中几句我还是很喜欢的
